What we collect
When you create a CashTo account, we collect your name or shop name, email address, Stripe account ID, and optionally your WhatsApp number. If you sign in with Google, Google shares your name and email with us.
When someone buys through CashTo, Stripe shares the buyer's email address so we can record the transaction. We never see or store payment card details.
We use a session cookie to keep you signed in. We do not use advertising cookies.
Who we share data with
We only share information with services needed to run CashTo: Stripe (payments and payouts), Brevo (sign-in emails), Google (optional sign-in), Cloudinary (image hosting).
We do not sell your data or share it with advertisers.
How long we keep your data
We keep account information while your account is active. Transaction records are kept for seven years to meet HMRC requirements.
You can request account deletion at any time by emailing contact@cashto.co.
Your rights
Under UK GDPR, you can ask to see, correct, delete, or export the personal data we hold about you. Email contact@cashto.co — we aim to respond within 30 days.
If you're unhappy with our response, you can contact the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
Cookies
We use one essential session cookie so CashTo works properly. Because it's necessary for the service, it does not require consent. We do not use third-party advertising or tracking cookies.
Terms of Service
About these terms
CashTo is a trading name of Thatgood Ltd (company number 05133569), registered in England and Wales. By using CashTo, you agree to these terms.
How CashTo works
CashTo lets sellers create payment links so buyers can pay online. We are not a marketplace or retailer. Every transaction happens directly between the seller and buyer. We do not own, inspect, or guarantee any items sold through CashTo.
Fees
We charge 4.5% on successful transactions, automatically deducted before payout.
Stripe also charges a separate payment processing fee. For most UK cards, this is usually around 1.5% + 20p. There are no monthly fees.
Referral rewards
Every seller gets a referral link. If someone signs up through your link, you both get a reduced fee rate of 2.5% for 90 days from the referral date. After that, accounts return to the normal 4.5% fee.
We may change or end the referral programme in the future, but we'll give reasonable notice.
What you can sell
Allowed: vintage and secondhand clothing, handmade and craft items, electronics and accessories, beauty and skincare products.
Not allowed: food or perishables, animals or pets, prescription medication or supplements, items over £500, weapons, counterfeit goods, adult content, or anything banned by Stripe.
Age requirements
You must be at least 13 years old to use CashTo. If you are under 18, a parent or legal guardian must complete the Stripe account setup with you and accepts responsibility for the account until you turn 18.
What sellers are responsible for
As a seller, you agree to describe items accurately, clearly show any damage or defects, ship promptly after payment, share tracking where possible, and handle buyer issues fairly.
CashTo does not mediate disputes. We are not responsible for delivery issues, returns, item condition, or lost parcels.
Payouts and holding period
Earnings from sales are held for 7 days before being paid out to your bank account. This holding period protects buyers and allows time to resolve any payment disputes before funds are released. Payout timing may vary and is subject to Stripe's standard terms.
Buyer disputes and chargebacks
If a buyer disputes a payment, it is handled through Stripe. Chargebacks and dispute costs are the seller's sole responsibility. Stripe charges a dispute fee (typically £15) each time a chargeback is raised, regardless of the outcome.
By selling on CashTo you accept full liability for any chargeback arising from your transactions. Where a chargeback results in a loss to CashTo, we reserve the right to recover that amount from any funds held in your connected Stripe account or by invoice.
We may suspend or permanently close accounts with a chargeback rate above 1%, in line with Stripe's requirements. Always use a tracked postage service — tracking is your primary evidence when contesting a dispute.
A few important legal limits
CashTo is provided on an "as is" basis. We are not responsible for loss of income, loss of data, or indirect losses connected to use of the service.
Our maximum liability to any seller is limited to the fees collected from that seller in the 30 days before a claim. Nothing in these terms removes rights that cannot legally be excluded under UK law.
Intellectual property
The CashTo name, branding, logo, and website content belong to Thatgood Ltd. You may not copy or use them without written permission.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any legal disputes will be handled by the courts of England and Wales.
